Itinerary
DAY 1 : Cusco – Bamboo lodge in the cloud forest .
We leave Cusco early in our ATV and traveling through Andean mountains, beautiful scenery, folk and rural communities and Ninamarca Paucartambo ( chullpas or burial tombs ) that belong to the pre -Inca culture Lupacas . Then climb the last mountain to Acjanaco , entrance to the Manu National Park , will descend to the lush cloud forest which houses a variety of flora and fauna. Being an ideal place of epiphytes , orchids , bromeliads . At 3:00 pm hours Perform a walk in the cloud forest and appreciate the national bird of Peru , the Cock of the Rock colorful in their ritual mating dance , as well as toucans , trogons , quetzals , monkeys and hopefully the spectacled bear South America ( Tremantus ornaments ) . Bamboo Overnight in our comfortable lodge with private bathrooms .
DAY 2 : Bamboo Lodge – Tropical lodge
Early morning wake up under the birdsong and walk in the Amazonian high forest , agricultural visiting coca plantations , cassava , and other products originating in the place . In the path of the tourist port of Atalaya observe a variety of species of birds, monkeys families accompanied with spectacular waterfalls and then embark on our comfortable and equipped boat to descend the turbulent waters of the Madre de Dios River .
By midafternoon start a 3 hour tour into the rainforest in search of birds, mammals , reptiles , medicinal plants and giant trees hanging the famous vines where one can swing like a real Tarzan an unforgettable experience! The naturalist guide will illustrate the behavior and the interrelationship between the fauna and flora.
The walks or nighttime activities are possible every night , which will be available to the organization of our guides.
DAY 3: Tropical Lodge .
Early in the morning we boarded the little lick direction ( wall of clay mineral content ) very important place where many noisy parakeets, small parrots and macaws and parrots eat clay as final diet for detoxification. After this fantastic show, start enjoying a hearty breakfast prepared by our chef. Following our expedition in the Amazon we go to the oxbow lake or pond Machuwasi important and with the help of the telescope will observe a variety of lake birds such as herons, hawks, ducks, horned screamers , orioles , families capybara ( the largest rodent in the world ) and hopefully one Impress anaconda or boa.
In the afternoon enjoy tropical waters (swimming and fishing) and overnight at the lodge our last night in the jungle.
DAY 4: Tropical Lodge – Cusco .
Early in the pot and return bus back to San Pedro to appreciate once again the famous Cock of the rocks , continuing our return to the ancient capital of the Incas Cusco, and landed at 17:00 pm approx .
Day 5 : Transfer from your hotel in Cusco to the airport on time . END of our service.
