Bookings

To book your trip with Latin Travel Peru you must contact us at +51 976333948 or +51 984630212 or you can send us an email at cusperu@latintravelperu.com. Once you have contacted us, we will focus on you, we will take the time to get to know you and listen to you to create an unforgettable experience according to your interests, desires and budget. If you approve the travel itinerary you are accepting our Terms and Conditions; for which, you will be asked to make an initial deposit.

Collection Policy

Payment for services must be made before the arrival of passengers, according to the following deadlines: The initial deposit will be defined according to the characteristics of your itinerary. It must be done within five days of approval of the travel itinerary; Otherwise, your trip will not be confirmed. The full balance must be paid 90 days before the travel date. This deposit is paid by bank or electronic transfer to the account we indicate. All issuer costs, as well as bank and electronic charges, will have an additional surcharge on the amount, for financial costs, according to the policies of the bank or payment processing companies. Note: If you have booked less than 90 days before your travel date, full payment is due within five days of travel itinerary approval.

CANCELLATIONS, MODIFICATIONS AND REFUNDS

MODIFICATIONS MADE BY YOU

If you cannot travel on the initially planned dates due to any unforeseen event, you must send written notice as soon as possible postponing your reservation until 31 days before the start of your trip, we will transfer the total amount paid for your trip to a later date, less one administration fee of USD 200.00 plus any non-refundable expenses (*), imposed by the suppliers involved in the trip, at a later date of 365 days, or one year, from the original departure date. If you postpone your trip from one calendar year to the next, please note that prices may vary depending on the policies of our different suppliers. (*) Non-refundable expense: Domestic flights, hotels, Inca Trail tickets, train reservations, etc. According to the policies of each provider. In case you cannot make your trip due to force majeure such as illness, death of a close family member, unemployment or others. You can transfer your reservation to another person, requesting in writing as soon as possible to see if it can be accepted by Latin Travel Peru. Your request must be accompanied by documentation and the reason for the transfer, as well as complete information about the person who will replace you. An extra fee of USD 200.00 will be charged for administrative charges, plus any charges imposed by the suppliers involved in the trip. We cannot guarantee tickets to the Machupicchu Citadel and the Short Inca Trail since they are not transferable, new places would have to be requested and their availability checked. Just like airline flight reservations because they often charge 100% and you should opt for new plane tickets. If you wish to make any changes (*) during the course of your trip, it may be subject to rate changes implemented by the suppliers and will be applied to the passenger. There will be no refunds for unused services and accommodations. (*) Change: Tours, Hotels.

MODIFICATIONS MADE BY LATIN TRAVEL PERU

Latin Travel Peru will hardly make changes to your itinerary before the start of your trip. If this happens, you will be notified as soon as possible.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS

If for any reason you are forced to cancel your trip, you must send a written message as soon as possible. In order to proceed with the cancellation and refund, the following policies will apply.

60 to 31 days	Refund of 50% of the total payment less 100% of supplier expenses and the initial deposit.
30 to 0 días	There are no refunds.

Please note that our experiences are tailor-made, so we will help you recover all costs where possible.

CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND ONE’S CONTROL

Latin Travel Peru does not assume any responsibility, nor will it reimburse or compensate you in the event that the fulfillment of our contractual obligations is prevented or impaired or that you suffer loss, injury, death, inconvenience or damage, as a result of circumstances of “force elderly”; However, we will be able to offer you an alternative if circumstances are possible and provide support as a travel agency. The existence of force majeure means unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond the control of Latin Travel or our suppliers, the consequences of which neither Latin Travel Peru nor its suppliers could avoid, including, but not limited to, war or threat of war, riots, civil war, activity terrorist (actual or threatened), action by any government or other national or local authority, including port or river authorities, labor protests, technical problems with transport, machinery or equipment; blackouts or power failures, natural or nuclear disasters, fires, floods, droughts or adverse weather conditions, pandemics, epidemics or disease outbreaks, and water levels in rivers.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Please consider that Latin Travel Peru does not manage, control or operate any of the providers of air, land, water transportation, accommodations, food and beverages, and travel-related services. All these entities are independent suppliers, so Latin Travel Peru is not responsible for the negligent or malicious acts of said suppliers, people or third parties. Furthermore, we are not responsible for any injury, illness or death, loss of your belongings, irregularities, delays, quarantines, civil unrest, arrests, etc. as a result of force majeure that may arise during the course of your trip. On the other hand, there are many risks inherent to adventure travel that can lead to illness, injury, or even death. These risks are increased because some itineraries take place in remote locations, far from medical facilities and other important services; The traveler assumes all risks associated with his participation in these trips.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION

Make sure you bring the right travel documents so that your travel experience starts smoothly, such as passports, visas, vaccinations (a lot depends on the nationality and the country you are visiting), tourist cards. If you are traveling with children under 18 years of age, you must contact your international company to obtain detailed information on the requirements. To book air flights, hotels, trains and obtain permits in the different tourist places in Peru, we will use the information provided in your reservation form (full names, passport number and date of birth must be correct). If you do not provide this information on time and it is incorrect, Latin Travel Peru is not responsible for the lack of availability. If you change or renew your passport, you must carry the old and new passport with you.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Before starting your trip to Peru, we recommend purchasing travel insurance in your country. Travel insurance is a fundamental tool that offers you protection before and during your trip against medical expenses due to illness, accidents, loss of flight or luggage, cancellations, repatriation, even telephone and legal assistance in some cases, etc. Make sure you take out a travel insurance policy with the necessary coverage according to your needs. Latin Travel Peru advises you to take out travel insurance from the moment you pay your deposit to guarantee any unforeseen event that occurs before the start of the trip, and is covered.
